hi, so here is the second tutorial about "how to... creating a stencil " . I use a Wacom Cintiq 21 UX ( interactive Pen Display ) , a Laserplotter and the PC Software Adobe Photoshop, Corel Trace and Corel Draw. Before I got that advanced equipment I used the Stencil Burner but the working method was the same. you can sketch your picture or you take a photo and then you cut out the different colors in different layers. The customers picture of thedog is an easy one that takes me 45 min to paint it on the PC and 15 more minutes and the stencil and the Airbrush work was finished. When there are more details like in a car or an animal it takes me up to 4 hours to paint the picture on the PC and the laser plotter needs about one hour to cut the stencil ( the dog has about 2000 vector parts for the plotter to cut ) But when you have a stencil like this you can airbrush the picture in 5 to 10 minutes and there are 2000 details in your artwork that would take a freehand artist hours to paint ( now everybody can airbrush a high quality picture even with little experience ) hallo wegen der grossen Nachfrage .." zeige uns doch mal wie du die Schablonen schneidest " kommt hier das zweite Tutorial zum Schablonen schneiden verwendet werden : das Wacom Cintiq 21 UX ( Tablet Display ) , ein Laserplotter und die Computerprogramme Adobe Photoshop, Corel Trace und Corel Draw. Be sure to pause the video at the end of each step. step 1: Draw in the Beard Shape. Be sure to notice that it is slightly asymetrical. step 2: Draw in the shape for the hair. Notice that the shapes from steps 1 and 2 are equal in height. step 3: Draw in the ovals for the eye sockets and the ear shape step 4: Add the shape for his clothing. This shape does not have to be perfect but notice that it is slightly wider at the neck. step 5: is a difficult step. The sword shape is slightly taller than the head and it points away from the body and towards the left upper corner of the page. The fingers will be heavily shaded later so it is more important that you focus on the shape of the hand. Take extra time on this step. step 6: Add some light lines to define the chest and left arm. I am confident that you will surprise yourself if you take your time and listen carefully. Here we go. step 1- Draw a big U shape but make the two lines at the top of the U point slightly outwards and away from each other. Pause the video now and remember to look at the reference picture on your computer screen. step 2- Draw a second U shape above the first and close the lines to form a crescent moon shape. Notice that the widest point of this shape is the middle and that the shape gets narrow and pointy at the top where the edges of both lines meet. step 3- When a person screams, the bottom lip presses firmly against the bottom set of teeth. Only the tooth tops are visible. The shape of these tooth tops is somewhere between a square and circle. Make 8 to 10 and stay light with the lines in between the teeth. Pause the video now and don't forget to look every few seconds. step 4- Now we draw the tongue. It is a rounded shape that is wider at the top than the bottom. It is kind of like drawing a heart shape without a pointed bottom or an indentation at the top. I recommend that you pause the video at the end of each step and get in the habit of looking at the reference image on the screen at least once every five seconds. To make this as easy as possible, I uploaded a print version of this lesson to my website. Go to merrillk.com and type in LeBron in the search box. Or, if you are watching on youtube, click the link to the right. All that you will need is a pencil and some paper to draw and aq tip or a blending tool to do the shading in the second part of this video. Good luck! Here we go! This part has 24 steps and it will be followed by a Lebron shading tutorial. step 1- Make a rainbow shape step 2- Make another rainbow shape above the first, with a slightly higher arc. This will be LeBron's headband. At the end of this step, it should resemble a banana shape. step 3- Make one more rainbow shape slightly above the top of the headband this will be Lebrons hair. step 4- Is a little tricky. Add the 2 shapes that you see. Its time for YOU to draw Beyonce. All that you will need is a pencil with an eraser, a blending stump or Q-Tip and a large index card. Be sure to stop the video at the end of each step and look at the reference picture on the computer screen. No drawing experience? Doesnt matter. You are gonna surprise yourself! step 1- Make a rainbow shape at the top of your large index card. Notice that the top of the rainbow is at the very top of the card. Then make the oval Notice that the bottom of the oval is more pointed than the top. step 2- Continue the line at the end of the rainbow down to the mid point of the card and then curve it upwards to the bottom of the oval. Do this on both sides. step 3- Try to match the two lines that I just added. Use the sides of the index card to gage their accuracy. step 4- Use your observation skills to draw the two lines that I just added. This will eventually be the bottom of Beyonce's left arm. step 5- Do the same for the top of her left arm. step 6- Now, create the top of her forearm. Hint, notice the shape that is formed in the background, think of this shape as a puzzle piece and use it to tweak the shapes around it. step 7- Create the V shape on her dress.
