A requested Pin-Up Doll makeup tutorial. Usually this look is glamorous, elegant and feminine but I wanted to give it a younger, fun and sweeter twist by the influence of dolls. Almost Ulzzang/Anime inspired.
The main focus are upon the eyelashes. I will show you how I apply UPPER and LOWER false lashes the more natural method (and if you are noob like me).
Remember you do not have the use the products that I use. I trust you guys to be able to find duplicates (or better) with your own experience =) Its not always about the product. Its about your own ability ^_^.
My philosophy of makeup is Simple, Clean yet Effective.
The eyelashes I used are purchased in a pack of 10 in HK. You can check out Ebay. Remember, I reccommend NON-Rimmed eyelashes. Especially for lower lashes. As for upper lashes, I reccommend ones that Criss Cross.

In my opinion it is best to use a more matte to sheer finish eye shadow all over the eye lid and then add a little frosted and highly pigmented colour to outer corners and or along lower lashline to keep the colours not looking too harsh through the lenses.

MAC polished ivory matte pro pigment
MAC moth brown eye shadow
Unbranded dark brown matte eyeshadow which was used as eyeliner applied wet to upper outer eye lash line
Benefit bad gal black eye liner
Benefit eye bright

MAC plush lash mascara black
MAC soft & slow lip gloss

Glasses are sexy, fun and cute depending on our personality. They can do more than help us see clearly =D. They can also be accessories for our eyes (and face). I have been short sighted since I was 11 years old. Without glasses/contact lenses; everything is blurry to me. Being in Hong kong, I know so many girls AND guys who don't even need glasses WEAR glasses. Why? Because glasses are incredibly stylish! They are becoming a fashion accessory as well as a functional product. I am definitely a lot more inspired to wear my glasses now. A lot of you guys feel its pointless wearing makeup since eyes tend to disappear behind the frames. However, its your glasses that make your eyes focal point of your face. A little makeup goes a long way to help them pop from behind the lenses. To be honest- the type of makeup can depend on the type of frames you have. Actually- you can wear whatever look you want. There shouldn't be a certain rule. There can just be suggestions and guidelines. I wear thicker frames because I find them very arty & stylish. But its the thick frames that really make the eyes hinder/disappear. Glasses wash out the eyes. But you don't need super amounts of eyeshadow to help your eyes stand out. Neat groomed eyebrows, eyeliner and lip colour is really all you'll need for all of your facial features to stand out equally. This tutorial doesn't mean this is the only way to wear your makeup. It is just how I like to wear it and perhaps maybe a look you can try out ...

I am on FIRE with tutorials this week! I'm off to a mini trip on Sunday so I won't be able to make tutorials that entire week so I'm making up for it.
This is my 2nd nail art tutorial. This is one of my first nail art designs that I have ever done and its actually one of my favourites because its so easy! If a NoOb like me can do it, you can too! Its really simple. I can do it on myself but ofc practice makes perfect. You can even try this out with your friends and vice versa on each other. Its definately about patience and practice.
