NIA Creative produced a 2-part purple VRS for Android web video / commercial on behalf of purple Communications, a company focused on providing technology apps for the deaf. In Part 1 of the Video Series, we focus on a day in the life of a young bride to be as she heads out for a night on the town with her bridesmaids. We see how purple VRS integrates into her life, making it easy for her to communicate with both hearing and deaf friends and family. The video ends with a cliff-hanger, and encouragement to watch Part 2 to see what happens. Both videos were shot all in 1 night (6pm to 6am) with an extensive cast, most of whom were deaf. The project had to be completed in just 5 days following the shoot date, and the budget was lean - yet the project demanded broadcast-quality footage and special effects (rotoscoping and pixel tracking) to integrate footage and screenshots into the Android phone during post-production. This is my recreation of xsparkage's violet vixen tutorial. Products Used: MAC's mineralized shadow duo Sea and Sky - the super bright blue - wet, to cut the crease. I added MAC's violet pigment on top of it, and blended up. For the creamy color on the lid I used Coastal Scent's Silk White, With Mac's Vanilla eyeshadow packed on top. I finished off with MAC's vanilla pigment as a highlight, lashes, liner and mascara. primer: Urban Decay Primer Potion Coastal Scents Gel Liner in Silk White eye shadows: MAC sea and sky MAC vanilla MAC vanilla pigment MAC violet pigment MAC stars and rockets Liner: MAC fluidline in Blacktrack Mascara: MAC zoomlash Lashes from NYX Thanks for watching!
