This is a building modelling VTM. Primarely for a video game environment. Watch me as I try to model the house shown on the first 5sec of the video. Inspired by GTA SA. Note: No texturing, video is x2 speed, part 2 coming soon

Cualquier duda manden privados!

This is a tutorial my son did last year when he was 7 years old. He wanted to have a go at doing a tutorial after seeing me do a few. He loves to make things and loves using Maya. Hope you enjoy his tutorial and please keep feedback clean as he will be reading it. If you would like to see this tutorial at higher resolution, please visit: mayatutorialsthomas.sitesled.com

www.RyanTaylor3D.com Cutting it a little close to 2010 but whatevz. here's what I made in my spare time after work at the studio. Modeled, textured, lit, cameras animated, intro etc. by me. Davi Blight created the Shark Creature concept, if it's difficult to read or goes by too quickly on there. Update: -Maya for low res models, cameras, lighting. -Mental Ray for rendering. -Zbrush for all sculpting -Nvidia plug-in for Photoshop for added fabric normal map detail and such -Photoshop and BodyPaint 3D for texturing -XNormal for baking out normal maps -After Effects for intro and compositing/ final output

This is created somewhere back in the 2001 or so. 2 Hours timelapsed from a head modeling I made in lightwave with subdivision polygons. Basic tools i use are smooth shift, spinquad and band saw. Here you can see how i create the flow between polygons, imitating real muscles directions to give it a good deformation if it was used in animation later on. Enjoy. Super old tutorial about the subject: www.computerarts.co.uk

Noticably less well done than many you might see elsewhere. This was one of my first modelling assignments from my University course. To create some models really, of anything. So I did a few, and set myself the object to be as low poly as possible. The human is 3000 polys (well, not really, as sharp eyed viewers may spot far more polys than that, I just forgot to turn off the subdivision multipliers for rendering) Rifle is about 500 polys Dozer is about 300 polys. modelling time, a couple of weeks. Software used: - Lightwave 9 - Adobe Photoshop 7.0 - Crazybump

Nub from interlopers.net had a shrine model request, so I decided to make one and record the process. I have a second screen, which is where the refernce photo was shown. I didn't record that screen though. I screwed up quite often but you don't really see it 10x the speed. Took about 1:20. I use 3ds Max 9 and PolyBoost which is the rollout on the left. Music is Scotland's Shame by Mogwai from The Hawk is Howling.
