Skill level: Beginner/Intermediate With this modeling with 3ds Max we will be modeling an apple. This apple will be low poly but all you have to do is add a turbo smooth modifier to make it high quality. This low poly apple would be perfect for any scene or game model. In this tutorial I demonstrate how to model the ROLEX DAYTONA watch in Maya. In the end it should be about 50 videos from 5 - 10min. (over 7 hours) I will use polygon and nurbs modeling techniques.... when the modeling stage is done I'm creating some UVs by using Headus UVlayout and create some textures in Photoshop. Finally I show how to create some shaders in Maya and render with mental ray. This is a step by step tutorial ... but I recommend a basic knowledge of Maya. Have fun modeling. 人間の頭部のモデリングです。 作り方には個性があり、これが良いというものはないと思います。 こんな作り方をする人もいると思ってください。 先ずエッジの収束点が横向きの球を出して顔の側面にあたる部分を平らにし、あごになる部分を下へ引き延ばします。 眼球は目を作る前にはじめから入れた方がモデリングの目安になります。 細かい作り込みと共に分割線を増やしていきますが、必要最小限にするのがこつで、荒削りに作ってから細かいエッジを足していく感じで制作していきます。 形状のモデリングが終わったら、UVの編集をしてテクスチャーをつけ、質感を調整して、必要に応じて表情を作っていきます。 このモデルは良い分割線とはいえないエッジの流れも多いので、参考にする方は自分なりに良い方法を見つけだしてください。 牛山雅博 Masahiro Ushiyama usms.ws
