That's my first Tutorial ever, so please no dumb comments about my commentary, thanks. This is basically just a Tutorial on a Custom blur Transition in Sony Vegas. You don't need any Plug-In's or anything else, just some Footage on that you can put the Transition on. I apologize for my bad commentary on this, i didn't even write a script or something, I just started to talk and made many mistakes. Also sorry for the bad, bad quality, YouTube destroyed it. My screen is 1080p so I recorded in 1080p, rendered in 1080p and the quality was great. Damn YouTube. :( If you have any questions on this, just write a comment below or PM me. Enjoy!

I think its quite a cool effect, but when I wanted to use it, I couldnt find any free plugins for SV, but then it occured to me that it would be simpler to do this. Oh and a tip which I never put in the video, drag them into eachother so they crossfade when its really blurry.

YES, this is a video where I have captured a video of my desktop AND added in audio. A how-to guide on producing a type of border I'm fond of using (namely in banners, AKA signature images for forums). IMO, a step up from the simple (if effective) standard monocolor, solid borders most people use. I'm not very concise, as per usual, since I didn't carefully plan this out. However, the tutorial is still explained, both visually, and audibly. BTW: Not sure, but I think I said, early on, "CTRL + Shift + New", instead of "CTRL + Shift + N", if so, my mistake. No, I didn't use camstudio this time, I used the x64 version of Windows Media Encoder. Much better quality (you can even read the text), and the filesizes are still reasonable. Part of the reason for the smaller file size, is that I really don't do much on the screen, most of the screen is the same for much of the video, and changes that are made also tend to stay. It was recorded (by the program) @ 720p, which is fine, since that's what youtube uses anyhow. Also, that wallpaper was designed by me, ages ago, as a PS3 wallpaper. Try programs like GIMP or Paint.Net if you want free alternatives to Photoshop, though I don't know if they have a Gaussian blur effect as an option. Programs I used; Photoshop CS4, Windows Media Encoder (x64), Windows Movie Maker, OS = Vista X64
